First Sentier Investors appoints Kevin Kandasamy as Head of Institutional Distribution

Monday, 14 August 2023: Leading global investment manager, First Sentier Investors (FSI), today announced the appointment of Kevin Kandasamy as Head of Institutional Distribution, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), effective today.

Kandasamy, who is Melbourne-based, will report to Lauren Prendiville, Managing Director and Head of Distribution – APAC. He will be part of the ANZ Distribution team and will be responsible for driving FSI’s institutional distribution strategy, deepening and expanding institutional client and consultant relationships in the region, and leading a high-performing team.

“We are pleased to welcome Kevin to the business. The depth of his experience will be an asset to the team and to our culture of putting our clients first,” Prendiville said.

Prior to joining FSI, Kandasamy was at Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he has worked since 2006. He was most recently Co-Head of Client Group. FSI offers long-term investment capabilities including Australian and global equities, global emerging markets and Asia Pacific equities, direct and listed infrastructure, fixed income and multi-asset solutions, systematic equities and listed property on behalf of institutional investors, financial advisers and their clients worldwide. It also recently announced a strategic partnership with AlbaCore Capital Group, which will diversify its investment offering to include alternative credit capabilities.

Commenting on joining FSI, Kandasamy said, “First Sentier Investors has a long and successful track record as a responsible investor and a leading global asset manager. I am thrilled to be stepping into this role and working with a talented team as we continue our commitment to providing a seamless experience for our clients.”
